Tamama is ranked Private Second Class in the Keron Army's Armpit Platoon. He used to be the newest member in the planetary invasion troop. His name stems from the Japanese word otamajakushi "tadpole".
Fanfic
The Keroro platoon encountered the mysterious Condilion while heading home after completing a mission on Earth. They decided to land and explore. Giroro found his old acquaintance and friend Dogkid, and was invited to join the then in-progress EFF. The rest of the platoon soon joined after Giroro explained to them what it was. Tamama may be a newbie and private of the Keroro platoon, but he is quite high ranked in the EFF, which he acquired through all his experience with the EFF overtime.
